A self-described English nerd, Lynn enjoys wine tastings, kayaking, and playing the piano as well as the guitar. Her idea of a good time is sitting in Jackson Square, New Orleans, listening to good jazz and people watching.
Lynn Stadterman Sr. Technical Writer
“Mark Twain had it right when he said, ‘Always do right. This will gratify some and astonish the rest.’ This is true in every aspect of life—even editing. I enjoy putting my touch on any written document to make it the best product possible and take pride in ensuring the words flow, the grammar and punctuation are correct, and the meaning is clear to the reader.”
In her current role of providing editorial support to the senior commander of Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Lynn is called “editor extraordinaire” by coworkers within the Command Group. She is responsible for reviewing high-level documentation for APG’s 2-star general and prides herself on being able to spot a misspelled word a mile away.
Lynn has over 20 years of experience writing and copy editing, including senior-level Department of Defense communications. She has facilitated workshops to government agencies, contractors, and civilian entities. Lynn is proficient in editing proposals, speeches, media articles, and executive messaging.
In addition to her background in government contracting, Lynn received the MD/Delaware/DC Press Association Award for her weekly newspaper humor column. She hosted her own radio talk show in Baltimore and was a marketing manager for Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union.
Lynn graduated summa cum laude from the University of Baltimore where she received a Bachelor of Arts in English.
