We seek a senior web content director to support the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT. Candidate must have demonstrated experience working on large-scale websites, as well as deep subject matter knowledge and experience in a technology field, preferably health IT.
The senior content director will lead all aspects of content strategy in support of a holistic redesign of the HealthIT.gov website and HealthIT Buzz blog, as well as ONC’s EHR Reporting Program platform. This role will incorporate best practices in content governance, usability and accessibility, search engine optimization, content management, and content operations to ensure the website achieves the agency’s communication goals and website KPIs.
The senior web content director will define and manage processes for content inventory and audit, editing, review and approvals, and publishing – employing project management tools to track and report on workload and throughput. The role will be responsible for ensuring that all content created for ONC web properties consistently reflects the agency’s brand voice and style.
