Technology Training / Data Literacy Manager for USPTO

Spire Communications is seeking a full-time, highly skilled training professional to join our team. A minimum of 10 years’ experience is required to apply. Spire is a woman-owned, boutique public relations, marketing, and communications agency in Northern Virginia.


In this role, you will lead and oversee training efforts for one of Spire’s clients, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, supporting the chief data officer. This role is the perfect opportunity for a training expert looking to guide operational excellence through developing and executing comprehensive training programs to ensure the effective use of data and technology for a large organization.

The position is hybrid, with occasional onsite work at the client site in Alexandria, VA. We will consider remote candidates only if they can support regular morning meetings on the East Coast as early as 8:00 am ET.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee all training efforts at multiple levels across the organization
  • Set the direction of training strategies
  • Use various channels to build user awareness for an enterprise data management program
  • Leverage brand development and strategic communications to execute training programs
  • Conduct training and literacy measurement activities

What You’ll Bring to Spire

  • Experience with teaching and supporting adult learning methods, skills, and techniques
  • Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills
  • Expertise in learning management and content management systems
  • Ability to develop key messaging and execute integrated communications plans
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
