We seek a full-time, highly skilled professional to provide support for DARPA’s legislative affairs department. Candidate will exhibit familiarity with and knowledge of the legislative and regulatory process.
In this position, you would be responsible for monitoring and reacting to the status of defense-related legislation, hearings, and floor actions. You will also prepare agency staff for congressional hearings and respond to congressional inquiries.
You will provide summaries of DARPA engagements with Congress, upcoming hearings, and active legislation for agency leadership. You will write background papers, talking points, and written and oral statements for leadership and agency employees when preparing for Congressional briefings.
