“Each day I have the privilege of working with talented scientists. Not only do I learn new and exciting things, but by helping extend the reach and impact of the research findings to a wider audience, in a small way I’m helping ensure that science makes a difference in our lives, that’s extremely rewarding.”
Lisa has almost 20 years of experience in all aspects of public relations, public affairs and corporate communications. She enjoys breaking down technical, scientific or complex topics to tell a story that people connect with, whether it’s an article in the New York Times or a video on a website. She knows how to build a brand, develop communications strategies, create content, and manage projects and budgets.
Prior to joining Spire, Lisa spent 12 years at RTI International, a nonprofit research institute, where she led the media relations and social media team. She also spent 1 ½ years at SAS managing public relations and media relations activities at the world’s largest privately-held software company, and five years at a PR agency handling clients including Krispy Kreme and several Hanes brands.
