Alexandria, Va., October 29, 2024 – Spire Communications is now providing strategic communication, engagement, and design support for Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS’) Health Informatics & Interoperability Group (HIIG).
As part of the Booz Allen Hamilton team leading the multiyear Health Informatics Strategy and Support contract, Spire is proud to support CMS’ efforts to ensure health data is accessible when and where it is needed to promote effective patient care and a more efficient healthcare system.
“Enhancing patient care goes beyond the doctor’s office – it’s also about what happens behind the scenes in approving and paying for care. CMS is making big strides to improve these processes, and we’re excited to support this critical work,” said Spire Communications CEO Ivy Eckerman.
As part of its contract, Spire will develop strategic communications plans and materials for key CMS HIIG initiatives, including interoperability rulemaking efforts and stakeholder events, as well as support ongoing website and graphic design requirements.
